But mesh has real limitations. It doesn't cover or protect skin from direct sun the way a tightly woven linen or cotton does. For sun protection, you want a dense weave in a light color—not an open one. And mesh just isn't appropriate for professional settings.

One Last Thing About Sourcing
I've heard people whisper about finding a "secret linen store"—a supplier that somehow sells premium linen without the markup. Having been on the wholesale side for years, I can tell you what that usually means: a mill that sells directly to end buyers instead of going through distributors. The savings are real, but so are the risks if you skip verification.
